Skills Class for Fall Session
Reading Skills
These classes implements a blend of the highly-acclaimed Phonics-First and Zoo-Phonics programs. They have been a success story nationwide for many years because it teaches children basic reading skills using an intensive phonics program, not just a sight-reading program garnished with phonics. With an intensive phonics approach, even the lower-ability child can learn to read successfully. It is not uncommon for the three year olds to start reading in this program. The intensive phonics approach is taught systematically throughout the classes to ensure the continued growth in skills. The lively academic program provides lessons and materials that are correlated to build upon the phonics foundation.
Language, Phonics & Reading Classes
Cubs
Ratio 6:1
Age Range: 2 - 3yrs.
Time: 50 minutes
Duration: Fall Session - 16 weeks, Spring Session - 16 weeks
Cost: $300, or 4 installments of $90
Students will be going on a musical phonics adventure in this class while discovering the natural love for animals through the use of full kinesthetics involving the eyes, ears, mouth and body as they learn phonetic awareness and language development. Stories, Music, Art, and Manipulatives will also be rotated and offered to bring even more excitement into the class. Lions

Age Range: 3-4yrs.

Cost: $300, or 4 installments of $90
This class is a beginners class which capitalizes on children's natural love for animals by introducing each letter through a special animal friend. Language skills are developed as the children learn to recognize the letters as well as the sound. Oral blending will be emphasized as well as working with short vowel words. This class is very exciting and integrates music, stories, art, manipulatives, and games to make learning come alive!
Tigers

Age Range: 4-5yrs.
Time: 50 minutes
Duration: Fall Session - 16 weeks , Spring Session - 16 weeks
Cost: $300, or 4 installments of $90
This class an intermediate class which explores language development and listening skills, sounding of blends, one vowel word building, reading of basic sentences, and pre-primary sight words. This class is very exciting and integrates music, stories, art, manipulatives, and games to make learning come alive!
Bears

Duration: Fall Session - 16 weeks, Spring Session - 16 weeks
Cost: $300, or 4 installments of $90
This class is an advanced class for readers which explores more advanced language development and listening skills, sounding of blends, special sounds, and one and two vowel words, primary sight words, compound words and reading of sentences and stories through the use of music, stories, manipulatives, and games.
Writing Skills
Did you know that preschoolers need to develop fine, medium and gross motor skills in order to cope with beginning writing? Students will have an absolute blast in these classes!
Doodle Bugs
Ratio 6:1
Age Range: 3-4yrs.
Duration: Fall Session - 16 weeks, Spring Session - 16 weeks
Time: 50 minutes
Cost: $300, or 4 installments of $90
These classes are play-based and emphasizes fine motor readiness such as grasp development, eye-hand coordination, left/right discrimination, stroke development, and developmental fine motor readiness skills. We will also introduce large and medium motor skills development such balance, spatial awareness, coordination and rhythm with activities such as the bear walk and frog squat. Frequent movement breaks incorporate multi-sensory integration techniques to help maintain a “just right” level of attention and focus for learning. Prepare your child for success in writing before he/she is required to hold a pencil!
Printing Bugs

Age Range: 4-6yrs.
Duration: Fall Session - 16 weeks, Spring Session - 16 weeks
Time: 50 minutes

These classes are play-based and emphasizes fine motor readiness such as grasp development, eye-hand coordination, scissors skills, left/right discrimination, stroke development, and developmental fine motor readiness skills. We will also introduce large and medium motor skills development such balance, spatial awareness, coordination and rhythm with activities such as the bear walk and frog squat. Frequent movement breaks incorporate multi-sensory integration techniques to help maintain a “just right” level of attention and focus for learning. They will have a wild time as they participate in many multi-sensory print activities using large and medium motor techniques, such as writing letters on the wall with wands, and in different textured mediums, such as slimy putty and colored shaving cream, and on worksheets.
Math Skills
Numbers will be Jumpin! and Shapes will be Shakin! in this fully kinesthetic and visual class. Hear it, see it, say it, and do it! We will go on a musical math adventure discovering shapes, colors, number recogition and concepts, counting, patterns, sequence, predictions, adding, subtracting, measurement, time, and multiplication (in the advanced class), just to name a few. Lots of singing and multi-sensory activities including hands on materials will be offered. This class is very interactive and students will have a blast mastering math!
Pandas

We will go on a musical math adventure discovering shapes, colors, number recogition and concepts, counting, patterns, sequence, and predictions. Lots of singing and multi-sensory activities including hands on materials will be offered. This class is very interactive and students will have a blast mastering math!
Monkeys

We will go on a musical math adventure discovering number recogition and concepts, counting, patterns, sequence, predictions, adding, subtracting, measurement, time, and multiplication, just to name a few. Lots of singing and multi-sensory activities including hands on materials will be offered. This class is very interactive and students will have a blast mastering math!
Junior Explorers
Age Range: 2-3yrs. (work in groups of 6)
Duration: Fall Session - 16 weeks, Spring Session - 16 weeks
Days: 3-days - M/W/F
Time: 1hr. 20 minutes, 8:30am - 9:50am
Registration Fee: $50
Cost: $480 for 1-day, or 4 installments of $110

Time: 1 hr. 50 minutes, 10:00am - 11:50am or 12:30pm - 2:20pm (must be at least 4 for afternoon classes)

This class incorporates both reading and math skills. Phonics, sight vocabulary, fluency and comprehension will be sharpened. We will also be developing a love of reading during this confidence building class. Library will be offered and incentives given.
Scholars Club
